Have a "bad feeling" and don't know what to do
My best friend and I have been planning a trip to Las Vegas for months now and are planning on going in December. (We were going to go in June, but something came up. But, I had already bought the plane tickets so now I have a credit.) We have really been looking forward to this trip, but now I'm really not. I have a really "bad feeling" about going out there and I don't know how to tell her. I don't want to make her mad or disappoint her...maybe I'm just being paranoid. What say you, other GLP'ers?

Perhaps your "bad feeling" is due to Las Vegas being a den of sin. In other words, you may have awakened spiritually since you first decided to go there, and now have no desire to go to a place of so many vices.

I've had "bad feelings" about trips - to the point of almost cancelling, but haven't. They all were fine.

Having said that, had I listened to my instinct, perhaps I would have experienced something better by not going.

Listen to your instinct and plan an alternative fun local vacation (spas, day hikes, an indulgent workshop etc.).
