The only way bitcoin can be a con is if they are truly planning something monumental, such as a power grid failure.

Bitcoin has a lot of merits that make it useful and better than current currencies, but the main big drawback is that it REQUIRES electricity and an internet connection. (Not much different than modern banking aside from the fact that banks also keep records on file and allow you to print out said records for some physical value)

All the savvy bitcoin speculator must've cashed out at the top leaving all the retard traders pushing it higher. But it's day (in stratospheric height) was numbered. So now it crashed down from it's height. Like ISON it will crash down to pieces and will wait for another news noisy comet to bring it to it's previous height.

As the retard traders dump their speculation cut loss with trembling and fear, more retards will follow on like blind herds that were lead to slaughter house. You wanna buy? it is the forerunner of the one world currency, the NWO. A variant of it is coming, but it will not be good. you will not be able to buy or sell without it. I would not touch it with all the things that could go wrong, just like the fake dollar. Bitcoin is just like the name of why they bit coins, to see if they were real. In this case they are as fake as the coated coin by in those days!

I like real coins, it does not need to be gold, silver, nickel or copper. It does need to have some value, it has to be a useful metal. It could be a share coin in companies, or a coin that is a token of the metal. The coin needs to be strong and not to heavy, you do not have to worry about a computer and internet crash!

People used coin for thousands of years, without problems. They had problems when they were convinced to let ours to control their money, just like now a fiat currency for gold and precious metal. Theirs crashed,too! This is not new it crashed the countries 2,000 years ago, except the ones that saw it coming and got gold back!
