Fact is Armstrong had spoken out against Obama gutting NASA before he died and Obama did not want attention drawn to what had become of NASA under his administration. |

He did not want commercial endorsements of stuff. Agreed. He did NOT want a state funeral. Period. He was never into pomp and circumstance. He lived in my neighborhood. |

That would of been fitting for him, as he was a man of space. Men of the ocean have the option of burial at sea so astronauts should have that option. |
