No. Just no. Although I would try the bacon mac and cheese one once. Last Edited by Doomish on 04/05/2014 01:09 PM Trying to bring GLP together. For the first time in years a found them at the local grocery store, I was delighted to get a taste of days gone by. I took my first bite with a sense of nostalgia and expectation. Boy was I disappointed. They have changed something in the recipe. I s'pose nothing stays the same. Proud to share the basket with you. |

Quoting: Zuzu Compared to back in the late 90s when I used to get them off the ice cream truck the current chocotaco has less choco, a less flavorful and more toothy shell, and the ice cream definitely has more water, ice flakes all over the mofo. Not to mention smaller. Also I bet they use sucroalose for cost effectiveness. Yesterday's tomorrow is tomorrow's yesterday. |

Then restaurants started selling fish tacos, which I will admit are pretty tasty, but what’s happened since those simple days is startling to say the least. One of the truly amazing culture changing foods the Mexicans brought over the border with them. This world would be such a lonely place without tacos. Actually... Taco-n-(tah-ko) definition In ancient times, used in sun warship rituals to signify the coming dawn. The outward shining rays of quetzacotyl can be correlated to the use of finely shredded cheddar cheese permeating modern tacos. In old Norse, Tako, meaning "protector, nourishment" was a mythological figure said to be composed of a layer of refried beans, enchilada sauce, beef, lettuce, guacamole, and three types of cheese. He was mentioned in several folklore and children's stories as the bringer of the harvest. Tacos are found in cave paintings in France, as well as the recently discovered ruins at Golbeki teppe. There is an urban legend in Borneo in which is stated that following numerous ufo sightings, trails of shredded lettuce and pinto beans are often left as trace evidence at the supposed landing sites of the E.T. The only link I can provide is tenthhand account of what my neighbors dog told me while I was babysitting my Uncle Moran. Yesterday's tomorrow is tomorrow's yesterday. |

And don't get me started on the ice cream man. I remember that rush of delight I felt as a child when I heard that little song the truck played. Hurrying home to get some money and hoping the nice man hadn't passed by before I got back. These days there is no way I would let my child buy anything from a man in a van. (sorry for getting a bit off topic) Proud to share the basket with you. |
