Video Games and Mind Control - Word of Warcraft More Addictive than Crack
Years Ago, WOW - World of Warcraft used to claim there where more than 10,000,000 "USERS" of their Game.

That is taking a huge part of the youth of America out of the running for putting up any resistance to the New World Order agenda.

The "High" of achievement. Just like TRON, the SIMS, all the Utopia Build your own World and Empire Games, World of Warcraft puts the "USER" in a Virtual World.

You Make your own "Character" and Build it up.
You do not have the Limitations of Reality to hold you back.
You have "Magic", Unlimited Strength, Endurance, Dexterity. More "Powers" Magic Items to Enchant yourself, Improve your abilities.

The better your virtual Character gets, by spending more and more time improving it, or them if you play multiple characters (most do), the weaker and less healthy your REAL Body and mind get. Relationships Suffer, Important Things and tasks get pushed away, Food, Water and Exercise are relegated to history or brief hours or periods when the WOW Servers are shut down for Software upgrades or maintenance.

When you Dream WOW, Daydream WOW and Plan Wow Dungeon Raids in your mind while you are at work, you may think this is gone to far. Before your Spouse leaves you, Before you forget to pick up the kids, or call your family member on their Birthday, Before you loose your Job or crash your car because you fall asleep, because you could not stop playing the night before.....

Quit.

RPG, It is NOT Real, But it FEELS Real.

The Same Endorphins are released every time you accomplish a GOAL, KILL something, Farm Something, Collect some Treasure.

IT IS a steady state of feel good, for Hours on end.

IT PROGRAMS you to want to keep doing it, to reach out in the Virtual World for the NEXT BIG Score, Level, Magic Item, Ability gained to make the game more fun.

He's right. I played for almost 8 years before I realized ...

Will I be telling my kids or grandkids one day about all the years I spent playing a video game?

For no real accomplishment other than the rush of playing ...

If the power goes out in America EMP or Solar Flare, Millions of people will be in horrible withdrawl for weeks and months.

Not to mention all those that are on Antidepressant, SSRI type drugs and sleep aids that will snap, when they no longer have their mind altering chemical bath everyday to make them into good little zombies.

God save anyone around them. All the School shootings, and People killing their kids will go through the roof.

I used to play, quit 3 different times.

I still had dreams about World of Warcraft.

I lost touch with all my friends that did not play the game, After I quit the last time I lost touch with my one friend I had left, He stayed in the game.

I think about how much good, I could have done for myself, my family and the World if I had never started to play the game.

How much better of a person I could have been.

As bad as Crashing off of World of Warcraft, and if the EBT Food Stamps are shut off, those believe it or not are not the biggest problem or threat, It is Crashing off SSRI, Antidepressants. (This single reason alone explains why US Military are NOT allowed to carry Loaded weapons on Military Bases.70-80% of Active Duty Veterans are now on Antidepressants and Mind Altering Drugs. Under Stress or sudden withdrawal from the SSRI Drugs and people Snap and Start Killing Others, their families, selves, strangers.

You can't single out WoW.

I experienced the same thing in the 90's with "Magic: The Gathering" which is nothing more than a card game.

I got in early, and enjoyed the game and it brought a lot of fun to our social circle (Nerds, yes) but gradually I watched friend after friend start spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on individual cards, cases of cards, to the exclusion of all else.

When I began to see this I sold all of my cards and got out. Most of those guys still play to this day, but they managed to reign it in a great deal. (The game is stupid now, complicated boring cards, less addictive.)

Running Away from Reality - (World of Warcraft)

Living in a matrix of lies, that makes one feel Strong, successful and in control (you can die, and be back to life fighting for your next adrenalin kick in less than one short break, or just slightly longer if the graveyard is far from your point of last death.

I like to play 1 player games like Last of Us or Uncharted, etc. They are like a virtual movie, great experience but then it ends and you move on. In fact I enjoy these kinds of games more than movies lately (most new movies are so fkin bad)

Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”

WoW and MMORPGs in general are pretty much dead now. The new thing is MOBAs like LoL and DOTA2.
MOBAs are basically just the fighting part of MMORPGs mix with a sport type gameplay that is similar to Baseball.

The attraction is that there are many characters to play as and you level them up during the duration of a game which lasts less than an hour.
So yes, its MMORPGs for people with short attention spans.

I'm not really into them. I play once in a while but I'm still into FPS games.

The average player's age is 28 - 35, and female players tend to be a few years older than male players. So our youth is saved from World of warcraft! Their players are already ruined!
Maybe if they turned the economy off and then turned it back on it might run better. Works for my computer.

Umm you don't have unlimited anything, but anyways..

It's metaphorically addictive I guess, I use to put in retarded hours for it, but unlike substance abuse, your still able to prioritize your life. I've also had an opiate addiction, so i can tell you.

You will goto work after a night of warcraft.

You won't goto work the next day without opiate.

It's a fun GAME, fucking overrated on so many levels.
