I cant describe or give any justice to the feeling or change in the air that happens when your with someone that passes. Its always the same but. I think if you be kind to yourself and others- everything will be ok. My religion anyway. |

So its actually better off than if it had been born. |

Quoting: Revelator28 God bless him for speaking the Truth for that is Righteousness. What's wrong was telling this to 5 and 6 years olds who haven't even been told yet where babies come from, much less what it would mean to abort a baby. He got too carried away with his agenda without realizing it was inappropriate for the age of his audience. |

Children should be raised to know the Truth and what a completely evil world we live in and why we live in such an evil world. Are you one of those who likes to lie to their children? Your agenda is putrid. |

Maybe they should be thankful, roughly 25% of Australian children are aborted "An estimated 80,000 - 90,000 surgical abortions are performed in Australia each year. 1 , 2 This equates to approximately 250 per day, or one abortion for every 2.8 live births.3 One in three Australian women will have an abortion in their lifetime" [link to www.lifenetwork.org.au] |

I think the parents that are angry are only angry because it got their kids thinking, and asking questions that mommy and daddy don't feel comfortable talking about. It's OK for 6 year olds to know about little billy and his 2 dads but not that he is blessed because his mother could have aborted him up until the ninth month if many had their way? The priest just got the conversation started. Now its up to the parents to do what they see fit doing. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 56811354 Canada 05/11/2014 12:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Happy Mothers day ..... Quoting: Whoop-D-Do Snip- "A Catholic priest in Townsville shocked his congregation during a primary school Mother's Day mass when he told the year two students they should be thankful their mothers did not abort them. Father Joshy John delivered his sermon to six and seven-year-old students and more than 50 mothers and grandmothers on Wednesday at Southern Cross Catholic School. Incensed parents complained to the school and the Catholic Diocese with one mother threatening to pull her student out of the school and another so upset by the sermon she was "shaking with rage", the Townsville Bulletin reports. One mother who wanted to remain anonymous told the newspaper she thought she misheard Fr John when he first mentioned abortion before he proceeded to mention it several more times. "The sermon went on and on about how you need to be thankful to your mother for not aborting you as there are hundreds and thousands of children who are aborted each year," the mother said. "Then, at the end he said, 'if you don’t understand what abortion is, go home and discuss with your parents'," the mother recalled, adding that at their young age the students "don't even know where babies come from". The Diocese said the primary school's principal Paul Cosgriff spoke to Fr John about his sermon and the priest was extremely repentant for the hurt he caused. Townsville Catholic Diocese director of learning, teaching and education Ernie Christie said the school issued a formal apology on behalf of a "mortified" Fr John following a "handful" of complaints. "Fr Joshy is mortified that he said this," Mr said about the priest, originally from India, who did not intend any malice. "He wishes he wouldn't have said it and apologises for the upset he has caused. What he was trying to say is, 'your parents love you' but it didn't come out like that." They should be able to enjoy being a kid . Quoting: Whoop-D-Do Some of you have forgotten what it was like to be a child. Kids don't need to be force fed the homosexual agenda & other progressive BS either. At least what the priest said was the truth & not like the lies the kids are being programed with at the indoctrination centers. Kids can't be kids when their parents turn them over to some stranger at a government run daycare or preschool. Kids need a mom & dad. |
