It brings you to the point of not even wanting to eat most of the stuff, the key to any diet. Pounds came off in handfuls, though. Get creative and a lot of non-dairy protein shakes, a lot of nuts and good luck. Pretend you're a prisoner, or on a three-week space mission. |

Was very ill until I removed them all and took precautions. |

Kudos to you for giving it another try. People should be advised that if they have reactions to either wheat/dairy, they should get rid of them out of diet as a pair. They go hand in hand when having reactions. Eventually everyone will have gluten problems, as they are inserting it into the food system. Gluten is in everything and you must eliminate fully to get results. I have been gluten free for years. I ate 1 piece of coconut shrimp that was suppose to be gf. I was so very sick, within an hour. Don't do this lightly. Take it seriously. Once you make the changes you will feel great. You will get rid of your illnesses and your health will improve. Your weight may/may not change, but don't be disappointed from just that. You will feel great and all of your health problems will improve or be resolved. I have also seen the opposite from people that won't change, continue to have health issues from eating gluten and are miserable. I welcome you to the GF family. |

I know dairy bothers me too as I have intense stomach problems quickly after eating anything dairy. So how do I do this without feeling like I am starving and without spending a fortune on “good” food? |

For the last 2 months I've been feeling constantly tired, fat and bloated. Even if I don't eat anything all day. Just water and coffee from the time I wake up till about 6pm when I have dinner and even at that time I am not even hungry at all. |

I had horrible symptoms for a long time. weird sudden pains and feeling generally horrible. It’s worth it after you get through the back pain and feeling terrible. Two weeks in you might be feeling bad and you will wonder why you feel ill. Just keep at it, soldier. It goes away, but, like I said earlier, it could take six months to a year before you fully detox. By the way, don’t go back to gluten, afterwards. You will not want to go through this again. . |

Problems breathing Heart palpitations Fatigue Bruising High blood pressure I quit eating bread and dropped my dairy intake about a week ago. Slowly I am breathing bretter. My heart is no longer beating rapidly. My energy levels are rising. I am trying this out of a last ditch effort to figure out what is wrong with me. Guess I finally got a clue now. I am on a variation of the low salt, no wheat diet now, I still have the occasional dariy but nothing like before. I swapped out milk for coconut milk. I think I'm getting better. 3 weeks and I bet I will be good to go. |

Its yummy and will help with the hunger pangs. I love herbs and spices so throw your favorite flaviors in there and good luck! Also black decaf coffee helps too with controlling hunger. I put stevia and coconut milk in it cause I'm a wuss. Drink lots of water also will help. Good luck. |

Take care with hidden wheat/gluten ingredients like normal soy sauce or some flavored type of rice vinegar used for some sushi and of course beer. If a product contains wheat is declared on the packaging, at least in Europe and the US. Quoting: McKracken You must replace those ingredients with comparable carbohydrate sources like rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans, chickpeas, lentils, corn, buckwheat, millet, quinoa. Instead of milk or cream you can use coconut milk. So pure cornflakes with coconut milk for breakfast are ok if you need something fast to prepare. Don't "fake" and just eat less as that might be dangerous if you don't get enough energy. This is not about genetic modified food! There is no conspiracy behind about wheat, it is just a perfect ingredient for many dishes and has replaced other bread ingredients like buckwheat, hardwheat, millet, lentils, chickpeas in almost all regions on Earth and it has been optimized to produce perfect baked goods with an ever increasing ratio of gluten. Gluten is something completely different than MSG or glutamat. Post the results here! I moved to gluten free in 2006. I saw huge improvements, but I didn't see what was really possible till I went vegan. Losing the cheese and butter wasn't actually optional for me. I became allergic in one of the very rare freak occurrences of adults developing an allergy to casein. I have a rare condition that causes me to have multiple anaphylactic reactions. Becoming allergic to dairy is the best thing that ever happened to me. It reversed aging for years behind my counterparts and I was age appropriate before it happened. Now I'm not. No one can figure out my granny ass age :) I literally look younger now than I did in 2010, which is very weird. Now, I'm recovering from years of physical mismanagement. I still have lots of problems, but I guarantee I'd already be dead if I hadn't started that journey in 2006. In fact, many of my counterparts died in their 40s, 50s and 60s. I've been to a LOT of funerals of people I love. Now it's highly likely that I'll live past 100, since that runs in the family. But most of my family members thought I wouldn't live past 40. Take OP's advice advice. If you do nothing else, take this advice. I'm not actually vegan anymore. I eat eggs from local farms. I'm not sure what happened to me that I can't eat meat, and maybe it's helping my condition and youth that I don't. But I'm not really sure meat is part of the equation. I know for a FACT that gluten, grains and dairy are. Get rid of them and you'll discover the fountain of youth. 100000% Thank you OP <3 We're being pecked to death by a duck. |

I am going to try this as soon as I get back home. Right now impossible, eating out almost every day. Egyptian food is delicious. I think giving up dairy will be much harder than giving up wheat and the other grains. I have heard people having dramatic results giving up dairy though, so I am curious to see if it has any effect. |

Its not gluten free but it has 1/30th the gluten content of regular flour. Its an ancient grain, 12,000 years old. Never been hybridized. Something to look into if your gluten intolerant. Also you should know the the wheat you eat was hybridized with GRASS in the 70s. Makes you fat. Causes allergic reactions. This program was funded by Rockefeller Foundation. Makes Doctors RICH! |

Yes, wheat causes problems mostly because they spray it with roundup right before it is harvested. However, I feel better when I drink organic whole milk. So to say they go hand in hand as if you're some expert is just spouting bullshit. |
