Ignorant trash picking my flowers/plants when I leave, what to do?

You could try sharing.

I thought we planted flowers so everyone could enjoy them.

Jeesh, relax.

Sprinkle cayenne pepper on the plants, then after they get picked, the picker will pick his nose, wipe his eyes or touch his weewee and he'll be in for a big surprise!!!

Yet another demon possession.

Yes sharing is nice, wonderful...however speaking as an avid gardener, a lot of time, money and back breaking effort goes into a flower garden. I am a loving sharing person but if someone came to pick all my flowers I'd be pissed too.

We used to have lots of tulips in our yard, and one fine Spring day some naughty high school kids who always walked down our block clipped a bunch of them. I was pissed, because my mom really loved her garden. I was trying to think how to catch them in the act.

Next morning I woke at dawn and looked out the window to see a beautiful young deer in our yard, eating just the tulip flowers, nipping them off the stalks with surgical precision. Ha ha on me, I thought it was the high school kids.

The flowers were never yours to begin with.

Can you wrap your mind around that concept?
