Siri’s Inventors Are Building Radical New AI That Teaches Itself, Does Anything You Ask If they are talking about it, then it has been around a good long time. These are the hidden things that come out of the closet where they hide them, them it is they are teaching it now. No, this has been going on for decades, that is not made up. They have also made robots that walk like a man so, you better start looking back, to see where they really are. Kind of like cloning animals then announcing they just did it, which was a lie, well lie is putting it mildly. You can't have a herd of grow animals from just a small time frame, with spider genes no less. If you believe what they say, then I have a 100 lb diamond to sell you. They have already cloned man, you can believe it or not, your choice. Daughter out with my own way. |

Siri’s Inventors Are Building Radical New AI That Teaches Itself, Does Anything You Ask While this program is smart - it can only be as smart as its programmer/s (whom I assume is/are probably very smart). The main problem with any AI though is very simple. Memory allocation. What this means is you can only access one point at one time ( though it is possible to make the pathing vary). This is how the ram and the memory in your hard drive work in your home PC/Smartphone. It seems our minds, "organic life computers"(brains), have a much more complex memory allocation - allowing us to access all the points in a system (our brain) at any time rendering speed and more importantly "time" obsolete. Sure we may only use 10%+-, but in that instant we can do more than any machine ever could. AI still relies on speed and time to give the illusion of being "real". Though I do appreciate technology is fast enough to fool the brain, it is still not true AI. When a program writes another program without being programmed to do so I promise to be kinder to AI - until then its just a program made by intelligent design. Simply put... our PC's run is a programming language called binary (base 2). Organic life seem to operate on a base 4 or even 8 and beyond depending on the species. Just trying to think about programming in base 4 hurts. Sure a simple program Based on the rules I leant programimng binary - but to really make the most of it? I have no Idea!! |

Siri’s Inventors Are Building Radical New AI That Teaches Itself, Does Anything You Ask a small team of engineers at a stealth startup called Viv Labs claims to be on the verge of realizing an advanced form of AI that removes those limitations. Whereas Siri can only perform tasks that Apple engineers explicitly implement, this new program, they say, will be able to teach itself, giving it almost limitless capabilities. In time, they assert, their creation will be able to use your personal preferences and a near-infinite web of connections to answer almost any query and perform almost any function. Quoting: Digital mix guy Viv strives to be the first consumer-friendly assistant that truly achieves that promise. It wants to be not only blindingly smart and infinitely flexible but omnipresent. Viv’s creators hope that some day soon it will be embedded in a plethora of Internet-connected everyday objects. Viv founders say you’ll access its artificial intelligence as a utility, the way you draw on electricity. Simply by speaking, you will connect to what they are calling “a global brain.” And that brain can help power a million different apps and devices. article, 8/12/14: [link to www.wired.com] Have no fear, Spock is here!!!
