Reminds me of my friend who worked for 2 or 3
months on a beautiful oak table for his wife's
birthday. He bought all the best wood working
tools for this huge 6 ft. oak table top.
He got it all smooth and beautiful--the thing
was huge...lots of work. Then he had to drill
the final holes to attack the pedestal to
support the top.
You guessed it. He drilled 4 friggin holes right
through the center of the table top. I wasn't
there at the time, but the neighbors reported
something very similar to "Paddy's Soup"
--they could hear him down the block! lol!
