Uncle Intel: Ebola, CDC Atlanta, & Acute Care Providers Being Activated.

First hand info from Uncle. Reliability of information in the next 3 paragraphs is 100%.

Uncle is an Acute Care Provider, Nurse Practitioner, full time employee at US hospital. Volunteer member of a federal deployment team, meaning can be 'activated' and sent to specific locations / events. Rarely happens.

Received deployment orders Tuesday. Ordered to be at CDC Atlanta on November 9th. 14 day activation. Orders specifically state "Treatment of Ebola unknown" but if Ebola treatment happens, uncle will be quarantined for 21 days from last contact.

Yesterday, CDC Atlanta activated their EOC (Emergency Operations Center).

The following info is speculation by Uncle to me:

Activation of the CDC EOC makes sense if they expect a significant increase in acute care treatment for Ebola, simply to try and manage, organize, and control the effort takes something like an EOC.

Uncle says rumor is that timing of deployment might coincide with non US persons, likely Health Care Providers, coming from outside the country needing treatment. Nearby military base is an obvious choice for large scale treatment.
