It does the complete opposite for me. I drink 2 large cups of coffee, regular, not decaffeinated, and I immediately feel sluggish, sleepy, and drained of energy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64705373 What gives? This happens with energy drinks too. I drank a monster yesterday and I was unbelievably sleepy afterwards. The only thing that seems to give me energy is an energy blend that I got from GNC. What do you consume for energy, if anything? That is a bad sign... Your body is reacting to the caffeine by producing extra insulin. Some people get the same feeling of sluggishness when they eat too much or eat to much sugar. I knew a guy who complained of the same thing as you and he was diagnosed with hypoglycemia. |

What you need is sustained energy- that which you can only get from live foods (FRESH raw produce- not those you see at the grocery store, but picked just recently, and not triple-washed so the beneficial microbes from soil are still present.) Or just put some eggs, bacon grease, and coconut oil in your coffee- that should do the trick (no, it won't). |
