When I hit the bottom of the concrete ditch, I woke up and some force directed me to deal with the situation I revved the engine and what was left of the car was able to drive up the other side of the ditch Then the car went through a fence and got stuck in an open field All tires were flat and the car was badly smashed Some force prompted me to call a tow truck and I made it home that night by 6AM Last Edited by Open Your Eyes OYE on 12/23/2014 01:59 PM |

Not sure what the speed was. The impact was in the front And yes I suffer from PTSD But would never admit it to myself until now |

Insurance should cover this, regardless of how long after the fact. Good luck getting through it. Keep your head up. Therapy is something I will be looking into Go back to your auto insurance carrier at the time and see if they'll cover " bills". I'm in MA so it's always different here but I work at an insurance agency. They should cover any bills from the therapist/councelor, copays, etc. There may be a statute of limitations though. 2 years here. |

Also, TBI or PTSD support groups. Your brain suffered a contrecoup injury...the frontal/temporal lobes were impacted as well as the back of the brain-occipital, maybe parietal. This explains the change in senses. Sleep, exercise, and diet are also important. I suffered a concussion, but never lost consciousness. The longer you were out makes a difference in long-term recovery. |

To look for how the trauma affected the function and blood flow of my brain Oxygen therapy sounds like good idea |
