The news they release these fake stories to get your eyes off what is really going on in the world. All day long big corporations beating you over the head with their media telling you what to think & accept, nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care.

That my friends is the purpose of the Media. It's determination is to deceive the masses. My perception is of that is that it's doing a excellent job. Boko Haram fits into the Western media presentation of "Islam run amok" but if you read about the group it's much more complicated than that

the attacks and abuses made by the central government in Nigeria against the Kanuri (tribe Boko Haram mostly consists of) dwarf the attacks credited to Boko Haram

the government has been escalating the war against them there are over 150 million people in Nigeria to put all this into perspective there were over 14000 homicides in the USA in 2010 and the total number of deaths attributed to Boko Haram in their civil war against the Nigerian government is 5000 civilians in 5 years

there are also 4 different groups calling themselves Boko Haram

so anyway there is more to it than you are told and you don't have any context

The media only covered this story in a minor way. I would guess that most people missed the news coverage on this event all together and don't even know about it.

I haven't heard that ANY body from ANY country is going to do ANYTHING at all to stop Boko Haram's rampage and killing in Nigera. This is going to be another Rwanda and nobody really cares.

There WERE some good decent Christian people in Nigera, many are dead now and most will be soon and nothing will be done about it. You might hear a few blips on the news, but that is all.
