I just happened to run across this yesterday. Baking soda. The article tells you the amounts, etc. [ link to articles.mercola.com] Mercola....Baking soda used to treat swine flu 85 years ago I looked up this link and found good information about baking soda and its ability stop the mucous. My fever is almost gone, yet the mucous continues. I have coughed so hard that my abdominal muscles hurt. I use other methods to alkaline my body, but it seems my body needs some baking soda , so I just took some and will take it several times today according to the article.
