A Biblically significant event for Israel likely would happen on a feast day such as Purim, especially significant is Purim's association with Iran. I am on alert until tomorrow.

Purim isn't a commanded feast of the Lord.

People need to understand what Purim 'celebrates'. It's a time of giving to their own and denying those who are not.

Children are encouraged to dress up as Esther and Mordecai. Their images are 'blessed' and held up as 'saviors' of their people.

Others dress up as Haman and other enemies, like Yasser Arafat. They are paraded as devils and demons and are ridiculed and cursed.

Drinking and actual drunkenness is encouraged, so that 'it blurs the differences between blessings and curses'.

There are many who do not like how the day (and WHO) is remembered now.

Iran says it’s discovered what could be the world’s second-largest lithium deposit

“For the first time in Iran, a lithium reserve has been discovered in Hamedan” in the country’s west, an official at Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade said.

The ministry believes the deposit holds 8.5 million tons of lithium, which is often called “white gold” for the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry.
