So He shows restraint. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31966753 I think you have missed the logic I was trying to describe before, regarding the superfluous nature of having any sex ascribed to an omniscient creator for an eternity prior to creation. But you seem a little inflexible with your thinking on this matter. And you probably think my way of thinking is strange. In reality, we're discussing something which we'll probably find out to be an absurd notion anyway. Let's just agree to disagree and peacefully leave it at that. What do you say? I didnt miss your logic. I just gave you a reason why a guy responsible for creation decided not to have sex with anybody even though he has the power to be the biggest sleeze ball ever. Restraint. oh hell, anyone can resist sexual temptation, all it is is a stick that feels good and then shoots out white stuff, who couldnt resist it? Real life goes undefined |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 13189274 United States 04/11/2015 12:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's a mystery. Men and women were created in the image of God, so it seems God might appear as a man or a woman. Men who have reported seeing or speaking to God say he is a man, but it might be a matter of point of view. Women might see God as a woman. God is spirit and truly neither man or woman, but we are images, and we see through concepts of images. I see God as a man, so I freely use masculine pronouns. But I never objected to women using feminine pronouns, since men and woman are both equally images of God. Perhaps the difference could be a reflection that women relate to the feminine side of God and men relate to the masculine side of God. Call it as you see it. |

My logic was this - if God was male (ie - had a penis) then why did he spend eternity with an organ specifically designed to impregnate females when there was no such thing as a female? Remember, before creation, God existed FOREVER. So why would a male exist forever if there was no such thing as a female? I believe in God, but not that God is in any way male or female. That's something our little human minds need to project because we aren't capable of thinking beyond duality. “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” - Gautama Buddha |

If what you say is true that would mean men arent a sex or gender either. There are only two genders. If there wasnt two genders, thered be no need for calling male or female gender. |

Paradise is all about choice, as well as poverty and sin. |

So ive lost to that temptation plenty of times. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31966753 and STDS and infidelity. A lot of us take risks because of our selfish choice to feed our desire and in the end it can hurt us in huge ways. This temporary life is a learning experience and choosing restraint is a lesson taught by our guy creator who isnt pervy even though he has the power to. |
