Students are leaving the colleges so Apartments should be available. Look up [link to www.hempnationlajara.com] they are looking for volunteers. You will have a place to stay and food. |

The only thing is we also need to be able to receive mail. I don't know if campgrounds do that. But we really just need a job. I actually lost my id coming to Colorado (of course) so I really need that. ~we live every moment of our lives wandering whats going to happen the next moment, not knowing were living it right now~ ~Prayer to the Eagle Lord of the Skies I ask for your guidance for your keen sight from the heights above for your strength in the power of the winds take me on your wings and bring me high above the clouds for my prayers need answered you are my vessel to the father above~ |

Bring your tent but expect it to be very cold. Maximum stay in parks is two weeks. You have to pay to camp in the National Parks. You have any money? We are already have lots of unemployed here. Wages really suck (less than $10.00 per hour). I for one am tired of beggars on the street corners even in the smaller towns. You have any money? |

As of right now we are still in Kansas but we're not stopping. I can feel the excitement welling up right now. Does anybody live close to the Loveland area? I believe that might be right around where we settle but I'm not sure yet. We just do not want to stay inside denver or boulder. Quoting: TheWillowTree Again, thank you Have you been to loveland.. wow beautiful Go straight to Estes Park... see if you can find work there. you will never leave.. |

We have enough to not sit on the side of the street and beg. If it comes down to that were just heading back to Indiana. Our plan is to spend the leastt amount possible and get somewhere where we can receive mail and get a job. Any job will be fine. We could do some work for people for a bed and food a few days. We're just trying to branch out of Indiana. I worked at a factory before coming out to Colorado and I loved my job and paid my bills on time so it's not like I'm some lowlife hippie trying to get free shit.
Anonymous Coward User ID: 55358664 United States 04/21/2015 12:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am on a trip to Colorado with my cousin. You all may know him as eyedr3. As of right now we are in Missouri on 70. We have no job, nowhere to go, and everything to gain. All we really need is to stay in touch with people around us and acquire the bare essentials. Quoting: TheWillowTree Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. We are not asking for anything other than good info about where to possibly stay for cheap and if there is anywhere we could also give some help to. Please feel free to ask a few questions. We will not be on the internet a lot considering we need to pay attention to our surroundings and our time but I would love some conversation. Thank you Go to the north. Find a small town and get work with one of the ranchers. In that area you can still find normal people. |

My best advice is to get a good map/GPS, get on Craigslist now and stay on until you find what you're looking for because things WILL go fast, if you are camping it will get cold but you can buy a cheap Coleman tent heater and get through the night (I have the Coleman SportCat Catalytic Heater, one can of propane will last 12-14 hours just keep a crack open in the window or door), 287 is better than I-25, just get used to the bicyclist, and most importantly just enjoy this beautiful place. Don't let these guys discourage you. I came out here from Ohio four years ago with nothing but the clothes on my back and what I could fit in my Jeep. I'm doing just fine :) "Eppur si muove" |

The drive through Kansas is absolute hell on earth. At first you start seeing little oil well pumping things and think "how, how neat!" Then fields. And fields. And pumps. And fields. If you have time to stop at a gas station DO IT NOW and buy some awesome windshield wiper fluid cause I swear some of the bugs are the size of birds. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 68943377 United States 04/21/2015 01:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Unemployed and picky about where you live? Loveland, how romantic. Except its the end of ski season and everyone is laid off now.. Get an address at an UPS store (free first month), and it can be used as a residential address for your job applications. Its chicken shit season in Greeley if you don't mind shoveling bird crap. But, since you asked about dispensaries and have a car, might as well apply to be a weed delivery driver. Some delivery drivers average $35/hr with tips. Boulder is seasonal too, all based on CU. You have factory skills, so there are warehouses like Tharco in the Montbello area (AKA Africa), but you wouldn't want to live there unless you find a room in like Acres Green where its trash, but more white. I never had a problem finding work in Colorado, but I don't know your skills. You might take a tour of Miller Coors in Golden and ask for an application. They give beer to employees and you can drink at work (up to like 2 beers a day). I once watched a guy in a suit and tie hold a sign "I WANT a JOB!" near Wash Park where all the yuppies drive up speer blvd and cars were stopping to give him business cards. If you want work badly enough, you'll get hired. |
