Why does God care if people worship him or not? Why does God need people to worship him after all?

What happens if humanity gets extinct, and there is no one left in the world to worship God?

God doesn´t need people worshipping him, he is love and would like to be loved as we should if we knew what gratitude is because all creation was given freely and man decided to price everything instead.

God wants the word to be spread so maybe we can save ourselves from being kicked out from the future Kingdom of God here on earth. The other place wont be fun, it really is worth our while to give this a shot.

Jesus seems to contradict you. He came to plant the seed for the future Kingdom of God here. This planet is very important to God. He has big plans for this place. Revelation 11 indicates this too.

This says God will destroy those that were destroying earth.

If you consider when this was written when the concept of earth was practically unknown as we now know it and it most certainly wasn´t in danger of destruction as it is now...if this doesn´t convince you I don´t know what will

When you were born and grew up, did any god come to you and tell you what to do? Did they say you needed to worship it/them or face dire consequences? Nope.

Buddhadharma = Attaining Enlightenment for the sake of saving all sentient beings from suffering.

Some other religions (their exoteric aspect anyhow) = Worshiping the ego of some god or gods.

Was Jesus a Buddha or Bodhisattva? Could have been. Thing is, that you'd need a 'Qabalah' (along with prayer and meditation) to decipher his teachings in order to see if he taught worshiping the ego of a god, or if he actually taught how to be free from rebirth in samsara.

God does not want us to worship him in that egotistical way. He only wants your free will to align with that of the collective ( fate, destiny, All people). That is why we worship. To get on the same page and be ONE with God...

And ONE with all...

If you weren't spending your mind processes thinking about praising a god you don't even understand or have the slightest inkling about then you would be spending your limited amount of thinking time concentrating on issues in the real world that tptb would prefer you stayed well out of less it interferes with their piece of pie.

It is our duty to honour the Father just as the commandment says. We honour our own parents so it's only natural we honour God in the same way.

Oh, it wouldn't take much. Some piece of solid evidence that I can witness myself and not some book written to control others. I suppose you could think for yourself instead of being lead around by fear but you can't for some reason. I really feel sorry for you.
