POLL: What colour will Canada's next Prime Minster will be:
Green: Elizabeth 'I'm smarter than you' May - Green Party
Orange: Tom 'Two-faced' Mulcair - NDP
 Blue: Satan Harper - PC
Red: Justin 'Ready for Primetime' Trudeau
 Blank (View Results)

In Canada, we do not vote for the Prime Minister directly.
Rather, it is a Westminster Parliamentary system whereby the winning party
gets to form a government with their party leader assuming the role of Prime Minister.

Last night, the leaders of the four major parties debated.
It might be their only English debate until the election this Fall.

My take as a newcomer to this country.

Elizabeth May (Green Party-Green): was the smartest and most educated of the four.
Clearly the best choice for Canada.
She doesn't stand a chance.

Stephen Harper (Progressive Conservative-PC): Arrogant and small-minded.
Still clinging to the idea the super-rich will eventually start sharing
the extra wealth they got through Harper's tax breaks for the 1% weathliest.

Want's to keep bombing and killing whomever the US POTUS tells him to. A complete NWO tool, IMO.

Tom Mulcair (National Democratic Party-NDP):
A liar with bad makeup(cosmetics).
At least twice he was charged with saying one thing in English,
and then saying the opposite in French.

He never denied doing so. (Hard to deny when it's on video)
Instead he brought up the divisive and somewhat dormant issue of Quebec Sovereignty.
Disruptive, pointless, and telling.

Justin Trudeau (Liberal-Lib):
Much maligned, baby-faced son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
Appeasing to the sensible Canadian, he wants to study everything ad nauseum
before enacting policy to ensure the best possible results.

Sounds great, but sometimes one has to act immediately or spend the next 20 years reacting.
He did a lot better than I expected but I could tell he still feels like the man-boy he is,
screaming: "Listen to me, I'm smart."

Just my toonie on the show.
What'd you think?
Who's the best choice?

Kind of like the soul that has to speak in 'double talk' in order to brag about the hacks they have 'pulled off', thinking no one will ever get it.

Funny...

Agree that May was smart and engaging. Very disappointed in Mulcair. Harper was just defensive as they all attacked him.
Trudeau really did well. I was most impressed by him
calling out Mulcair on the whole French/English comments etc. Great!

Yeah, Trudeau could get Harper re-elected.
Scary.

Really hate to say it, but Harper is the best of the worst. Mulcair and Trudeau both belong to parties with 'tax and spend' ideologies. Very bad for the individuals bottom line. And you're right, May doesn't stand a chance.
