Rush Limbaugh: Orders to Take Down Trump Must’ve Gone to Fox News, Not the Candidates

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has an interesting take on why Megyn Kelly might’ve been so off when asking Donald Trump about his past verbal attacks on women during the first GOP presidential debate on Thursday.

According to the man with the nicotine-stained fingers, orders from the Republican establishment to take down the Donald’s momentum must’ve gone to Fox News, and not the other candidates.

It’s scary if true, but not an entirely crazy thought. The base hates Trump.

If FNC obliged, that’s worrisome.

The very first question of the night was directed straight at Trump when Bret Baier wanted to know if any one of the candidates on stage would run independently if they didn’t get the Republican nomination.

So…

From Rush Limbaugh:

We all made a mistake. We assumed that the orders went out to the candidates. But the candidates did not make one move toward taking Donald Trump out. The broadcast network did; the candidates didn’t. I mean, let’s review. The first question from Megyn Kelly to Trump was, “You’ve called women fat slobs, pigs, whatever,” and he said, “No, just Rosie O’Donnell.” The place starts laughing and so forth, but she’s not amused, and she tells him, “No, it’s more than that.”

She keeps going on and on and on about it, and says, “Is this the right kind of temperament?” Whatever it was. Trump was clearly caught entirely off guard by it, and even today he said, “I’m not… I don’t know when I’ve ever said this stuff.” Who knows if he writes all of his tweets that he posts. You know, this is the danger that when you start going in the social media stuff and tweeting stuff and maybe you hire somebody to do it for you.

Megan Kelly was chosen to be the big Trump story of the night that they could hype up all weekend with the rest of the MSMM following suit, "war on women" crap, etc. People are so tired of this shit, members of the media attempting to become the story. So transparent. It won't put a single American back to work.
