I have used it before. Do not let the system pressurize. Click coolant/rad cap to first click, and check level every few days. This will make the "patch" last longer.

Yes. You want all of the air out, but like a pressure cooker, if it is not air tight, it will loose a bit. That is the trade off on the KW working longer. No pressurization in the cooling system is easier on the area the KW sealed.
