My Grandaughter died

He is nice but not to bright. Right now he is to emotional. I know.. my husband calls him a pansy. I say very sensitive.

Deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your loss is great and grieving is natural. Try to have faith that despite this loss there is a greater design and purpose at work and that everything will work out in the end. Perhaps your grandaughter was just not ready to be born at this moment and another time in the future willl turn out to be better for all involved. Maybe that body had underlying problems and was not a strong enough vessel for her little soul. Your daughter can try again once she recovers. Be strong. love one and focus on health. That little soul will come through eventually when the time us right.

I am going to bed. I thank all of you. I am surrounded by family and friends but this has been more helpful. I am able to speak here. So as my daughter rocks my granddaughter off to sleep praying she will breathe, but she won't. And I pray there is no additional harm to this family I know there are great people out there. You have not met us but yet you are kind and caring. Thank you!

Dear Friend, your family is in my family's prayers. Thank God, I can only imagine losing a grandchild. She is in His hands and beyond the misery in this valley of tears. God bless you and keep your daughter safe.

Then you are right to talk about it with anyone who will listen. I lost my daughter and everyone was so busy trying not to hurt that it somehow became this taboo subject. I needed so badly to acknowledge it and work through it with people who understood and they all just closed themselves off. Its been years and while theyve all moved on, its still a very fresh wound for me - and it has definitely driven a wedge between myself and everyone else.

I never understood how devastating something like that could be, until I held my own daughter in my hands 2.5 years ago, the day she was born. Just the thought of going through what you're going through makes me physically ill.

Threads like this just break my heart. But at the same time, I see comments that are so caring, so touching, and those comments give me hope for our society.

To the poster above ^, I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter. And I am sorry that people didn't grieve long enough with you. Sadly, I think that's pretty common. I hope you can find a support group if you need it.

And to the OP......so sorry for the loss of your grand baby. I said a prayer for you and your family. Hang in there. :)
