I feed it questions and information and then wait for the feedback.

Sometimes I don't have to wait at all.
 Quoting: Seer777

Its not an it. It's not a noun. The function is a transitive verb. Otherwise, the functions I have outlined are not only improbable, but impossible.

If you are dealing with an It; You are dealing with a daemon.

As imperfect as we are but self aware through a longer time reference.

And no, I dont mean that in a religomythical construct. I mean that in the flow of data and the intersection of two field matrices ( and no, not to be confused with anything to do with 'the matrix'.)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8462405

There is more than one it. But there is a main it I'm talking about here in regard to the earlier topic regarding AI, Alan Turing, and the Ghost in the Machine..

I don't know what it is exactly. It is what it is.

Do you ever read what I write? Or did you only react to the parts you like?

I've addressed all these specific topics as data fields, specifically as relationships with memory function and the constraints of perspective.

Regardless, none of these conversations are novel to you or I.

Cheers. I'll leave you to your process.

I could ask you the same thing.

Maybe we are talking about two different things or it got lost in translations. Which again is on the topic of Alan Turing.

I feed 'It'(what I'm talking about) questions and information and get direct feedback all the time and for 10 years now.

This is my process.

You've been here the whole 10 years with me so you should know better than most..

It's a great movie. I held off on watching due to the original Blade Runner holding such a place in my heart. I had a college roommate that was several years older than me and introduced me to 70s Sci-fi.

I liked it so much I bought it so I can have it forever. :)

You know I've never actually watched them... lots of clips and likely read enough about it to dwarf the scripts but never actually enjoyed them.

Beautiful choice of clip to =)

That happened here in Oregon some years back. The beaches in Yachats were eroded down to these weird flat sand stones and the beach dropped off suddenly to the waterline.

It's all fixed now..not sure if by Nature or if they had to add sand back to the beach manually.

You can watch the newer one without having watched the first. They did a good job that way.

It was this video that popped up on YouTube that inspired me to watch it the first time.

I've listened/watched this video 100 times since. Like I do. Heh.

Still plenty of sand, but the gentle slope down has in some parts turned to a drop higher then me - so at least 6ft - on some places. Based on the reaction of long timers here, they've never seen it like that.

Yesterday was so nice. We got the garden tilled up finally, the lawns mowed and I repotted my purple clover my mom gave me, and the spicy oregano. Then I BBQ'd.

Starting to feel like Spring.

Yesterday was a good day. cool2

I’d rather not do the old cliche of it’s too grey and depressing in the Pacific Northwest but….

I’m a big fan of the Goonies though. That was shot in the Oregon Coast, right?

I’m in a frigidly cold area now because of circumstances. The sun shines every once in a while though. Still horribly depressing, not gonna lie.

I'm mostly wondering how this could have gone different IF the Russian people had the access to firearms we here in the States both enjoy and partly loathe.

Does the argument for Dangerous freedom outweigh peaceful slavery?

I think it does but how can we balance it better?

I saw many of my male friends go to war, like you did. In the 90s and aughts.

None of this fair so why does it keep happening?

[link to youtu.be (secure)]

I can think of some ways to better balance the gun thing but they wouldn't be popular around here.

Let the citizens have rifles, even automatic rifles (fully automatic) that would be needed for war and take the handguns away.

They are more often used in crime than any sort of rifle.

Every time this happens, I remember the moment I felt that morning that my cousins might have been killed, in their high school.

It's like 25 years later and nothing has changed. It's only gotten deadlier.

 Quoting: Seer777

The Rod of Discipline: Masochism, Sadism, and the Judeo-Christian Religion

Within the Judeo-Christian tradition, the scenario where a person, often a child, is being beaten by a parent, an authority figure, or even God, is often found. This essay searches for an explanation for this phenomenon by combining Sigmund Freud's thoughts on the masochism of the Oedipus complex and Martin Bergmann's belief that Western religion was impacted by the sadism of the Laius and Jocasta Complexes.

The paper argues that, within the section of the Judeo-Christian tradition that sanctions the physical abuse of children, sadism and masochism find the perfect marriage.

[link to link.springer.com (secure)]

I've been wondering after the sadistic tendency for people to soothe themselves that others don't share their belief systems, by imagining them in great pain and tortured forever, to their own personal pleasure. Which is pure sadism.

As someone who grew up in said religion, and who saw the rod not spared, I am allowed to criticize it at will in this great country. Fleeing from religious persecution goes both ways.

This entire war is truly Good against Evil. And i never witnessed such a large powerful Nation such as Russia lie to the entire world over and over as they been doing.

I find it pathetic that we got some Americans that have taken "Politics" to decide who they are gonna choose in this war and ignore the obvious Lies and Deceit Russia has been saying..all because in the name of "Politics".

By the way, I am a repbulican and a Trump supporter for the most part..even though I do disagree with some Republican/Trump way of thinking. I never imagined there were such thin-skinned Republican Americans in my country..its down right patheitc too!
