David Bowie's Blackstar Video-Bowie's Final Word to God Defiant in Death

I watched David Bowie's Blackstar Video.

Here's what I think.

This is an angry, dying man. He knows that his mortality is about to overtake him and he is getting in a parting shot at God.

You see Bowie with the death bandana around his eyes. The herky jerky movements of the young people indicate death throws. This is speaking of the dying moment. The astronaut is dead. This is Bowie. He is telling God that even when he's dead, he will be worshipped by young women. The bearded men on the cross are a representation of Jesus, whom Bowie declares to be dead like he is about to be dead.

Bowie is declaring to the "I Am", which is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that he will be accepted because of how great Bowie thinks he is. He declares himself to be a black star, not a white star.

But, the Bible teaches that no man comes into the sheep fold except through Jesus Christ. Even if a man were famous and wealthy on earth, he still must come to salvation through humility and through the Son of God. There is no other way.

This is David Bowie declaring his intention to rebel against God. It is fait accompli. He is angry and making his last statement to God. It is defiant, but also for naught.

Very sad.

I agree-- very sad--- but I doubt that much of his own personality was even left in recent years-- he has been demonized and was probably 90% possessed.

Once a person becomes demonized, it becomes more and more difficult to make a choice for God, because the demons take control--- knowing that they pretty much have this soul in "the bag."

One's freedom of choice is diminished once you give access to demons.

The part where he is talking about the one going to take him home. He makes some movement with his hand over his nose. How many times must an angel fall. This kind of stuff. It is very demonic.

God will not be mocked, though. It's a horror show.

Yes, I felt repulsed by it as well. It is very demonic. This guy is very in league with satan. I hope you don't watch it if the Spirit tells you not to. I wish I hadn't watched it. Curiosity, I guess. But, it's very bad.

What's sad is you see what an imperfect heart desires to see but have no inkling that is the only truth you have so far been capable of comprehending.

You were put on this earth to decide your own fate, not David Bowie's or anyone else's. You have followed our dear brother Paul all too well and it shows. Please reconsider the one Christ has admonished you to follow.

Poor David, he was obviously involved in the occult, this video clip, black star or is it black angel ? is full of occult symbology, the most significant scene i believe are these young people shaking as they were possessed by demons, or is it a signal ?

That signal that implies the youth is ready to endorse the antichrist, that they are "ripe wicked" and definitely led astray, far away from Christ's salvation, ready to be possessed by evil spirits, hungry evil spirits, that are about to strike and haunt that fresh wicked meat on a global scale.

What i write is scary but seems to be what is on the agenda of the occultists, that know the spiritual realm is real though the Tribulations of the end times are about to begin.

Now David's soul must be very disappointed to realize Christ was(from his new desperate point of view) the Way, the Hope, the Truth, the Light, the Life...

Beware brothers and sisters.

Interesting topic to discuss Bun Bun.

Re: David Bowie's Blackstar Video-Bowie's Final Word to God Defiant in Death
Yes, it was demonic.

He was deep into some stuff. I don't really want to know what it was. He was talking about somebody going to take him home and the thumb on the nose, fingers wiggling thing is something that I have seen from him before. It looks like a childish thing, but I think there is much more involved there. It has something to do with whatever spirit he is involved with.

It is definitely demonic in nature.

A candle in the middle of it all

Eyes see it all.

Someone that Bowie thought was at the center watching it all. He was speaking to that person. It was defiant. Messed up and defiant. It's like he was blaming God.

We were born upside down.

Blaming God for our sin nature. It was very evil.

Nope. We aren't going to accomodate this world. We belong to Jesus Christ and it isn't our job to accomodate this world in any way shape or form. It is our job to resist this world with everything that we have and with even more which is given to us by Lord Jesus.

David Bowie was in hard core rebellion against Jesus Christ, right to the last minutes of his life. And now he stands before the Lord!
Hallelujah! David Bowie will be standing before the Lord and must give an account of his detestable life and his terrible influence on the youth of the world.
Then, David Bowie will bow his knee to announce that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the father! Then, judging from the Black Star video that was released before his death, Mr. Bowie will go to the place of torment that he desires.... only to find out that it was not as he expected!
Heavenly father, forgive me for judging David Bowie, but his absolute demonic defiance of your holiness, grace and mercy merits a strong response from us believers here on Earth.
From reading scripture, to me it seems that certain people like Jezebel, who was eaten by a dog in her last moments of defiance, can be judged as vile to the core.

Re: David Bowie's Blackstar Video-Bowie's Final Word to God Defiant in Death
I hadn't thought about demonic possession as the meaning of the jerking. I was thinking about death spasms more. It was really upsetting behavior. It was wrong. It does have something to do with the young people. I agree. Having them worship the bedazzled human skull is a message for sure. The women are doing it with a high priestess. The men are ready for the picking.

There was also the talk about one man dying and another man taking his place and that this man is the Black Star.

You might be on to something with AntiChrist angle. You really might. I hadn't thought of that, but with the talk of the execution and his spirit rising and another taking his place. That might be Anti-Christ speak. Very definitely.

I tried watching/listening to this video today...it had a very unsettling tone to the music...

It has a very satanic sound to it and was very creepy...I couldn't get through it all as I felt uneasy watching it..

EAT, when I was a kid, my dad-who graduated in 1967 and wasn't a Christian-said that David Bowie was so evil that he wouldn't allow him or his music into our house. I thought this was very strong condemnation from my dad-who usually thought that nothing should be really censored. I think, in part, my dad was horrified by Bowie's self-proclaimed bi-sexuality. But, there was more to it than that. Dad never fully clued me in and why he was so disgusted with Bowie. Even after dad became a Christian, he didn't tell me, but I know for a fact that my dad would have none of it.

I believe that he was always talking about demons.

His Garreth character is purely demonic and satanic. I want nothing to do with the Labyrinth movie. It was sick and detestable. I can't believe Jim Henson had something to do with that evil. Who should speak such things, much less make movies about them?

I will not watch the video, but was reminded of the following story. He hated "The Little Drummer Boy" song & refused to sing it with Big Crosby...that's why the more secular-sounding "Peace on Earth" tune was written for him to sing in the duet. He needs a lot of prayers.

Per, it's too late for prayers. It's all over now. When we die, that closes the possibility for salvation. It's over now. He is already at the place where he will spend eternity. There isn't going to be any more choices for David Bowie, even if we tried to pray now.

I don't think we are supposed to pray for dead people. We need to pray for them while they are alive. I don't know if it would have helped if we had with this man.

It's a sad story. He had every opportunity to be saved during his life. He chose what he chose.
