She is 14 years old and she starting having constipation problems this year, we have been to the vet twice for enemas. But today is Sunday and once again she is crying and constipated, what can I do? Any advice please.

Have you tried giving your cat coconut oil?

They love it and it helps constipation as well as fur balls.

whatever the cat is eating is bad, so you must not feed whatever your feeding it right now.

you need some soft easy to disgust food with water in it, like soft chicken with gravy. for cats.

never over feed them. give them small amount of snacks every 2 hours to keep them happy.

cats love milk, so give them some milk.

constipated cats, put your finger in the butt . they will poop. when they are clean. read above.

do not give them hard solid foods, breads, cheese etc

they need to eat soft food only.

Re: Please help my older cat is constipated....s old and we have been hab=ving problems this year
Please feed ANY cat wet food. The worst wet food is better than the best dry food. Cats are obligate carnivores and are designed to eat only meat, not corn. Almost all dry cat food is made with corn.
Wet food is around 72% water, so is a mouse. The mouse is a cats natural prey.
If you have a cat you think is healthy and eats dry food, you have a problem just waiting to happen.
The extra water in wet cat food will help your cat have a bowel movement. But you should take it to the vet by the way you describe her pain. Then feed only wet food.

No Dulcolax! Our vet has us put 1/2tsp of Miralax into the wet food and set out a couple of extra water bowls. That's for a 10 lb. cat. Do 1/4tsp if it weighs less that 8 lbs., 3/4tsp if it's a chonk.

My mom’s 13 year old cat gets canned pumpkin in his food. Helps keep him from constipation.

If your cat doesnt drink milk, feed him whole milk, not the low or light or zero milk

Vaseline.

Put a little blob on paw or fur and cat will normally lick it up.

That should help her...
