Orlando was not the result of gun ownership but of systematic failure of intelligence...again

Five weeks before the Orlando massacre Mateen walked into a gun store. He asked about body armor and purchasing large amounts of ammunition. When the owner of the shop turned him away, he pulled out his cell phone and started speaking Arabic on his way out the door. The store owner promptly reported this to authorities.

Mateen was on a FBI watch list. Mateen had a history of non compliance and sympathies for ISIS and was a known enthusiast of ISIS beheading videos...this last habit warranted a visit by the FBI. And still nothing. And now 49 people are dead and scores more injured and traumatized.

This does not warrant a debate about gun control. This does not warrant a stern soul searching amongst American citizens about changing our way of life. This situation is a blatant example of the complete and total ineptitude of the multi-billion dollar intelligensia infrastructure that for the umpteenth time has failed to protect us. The only FBI stings that seem to stop alleged terrorists are acts they themselves orchestrate and encourage after months of an embedded undercover agent coaxing the people into it.

Do not let the propaganda machine confuse the issue.
