I was asleep because I had a day off from work. My wife had spent the evening at her mother's watching her dog. I woke to the sound of the phone ringing. It was my brother asking what I thought of what was going on and then yelling at me to turn on the tv when I told him he just woke me up. I turned it on just in time to see the flames from the second explosion.

I was 29, working full time and just recently back in college. I had been on the long journey of waking up for the past 11 years but had been lulled back into semi-normalcy due to my new wife and doing the domestic thing. When the tv came on and I realized what I thought was happening my brain twisted and I remembered what had happened a couple of weeks before. I had some sort of episode while swimming in the my mother-in-law's pool. It was a Sunday and my wife and I were enjoying the sunshine and water when I had the sensation of falling while I was floating in the water. And then came this overwhelming feeling of panic that something was going to happen. I had no idea what was going on. I must be having a panic attack and it had nothing to do with anything in my life. I knew it was going to be something that would change everything about our way of life. This lasted for about 45 mins. It wasn't just a panic attack though it was a total shaking of my body that I couldn't control. No epilepsy or any other CNS conditions then or now.

I realized this was the event while standing there in front of the tv that morning.
