Well...that IS true.

Whoa, that was racist. Blacks don't discriminate on who they shoot, rob or rape... In their eyes everyone is fair game. The fact is that if Blacks are in a large community of blacks then blacks are usually the victims.

Just a fact.

It needs to be stated properly.

Blacks are profiled because victimization in black communities at the hands of black people is so high that police are called 4X as much as in typical white communities. It is due to the "disproportionate victimization" of blacks by blacks that such excessive policing exists in these communities.

It should also always be stated that "young black men aged 14-29 make up less than 1% of the US populace, but commit nearly 40% of murders and other violent crimes".

Somewhere in the universe there is a planet that only has black people on it and every time something goes wrong they blame it on a a white person.

She has a point. She's saying that cops are profiling blacks because blacks are committing more fucking crimes!

Not that I'm a Myrtle fan. She's been an embarrassment around here for quite some time, and I've been in San Diego since 1999.

She did make a mistake. If she wants to keep her job she should have lied to them just to pacify them and continue to support the profiling being done to protect the people and her job. While listening to her words of apology I believe she may be saying just this. Sad isn't it?

So lets get this straight...Black's profile other Blacks...so they are designating some as just plain old Naggers and others as Din Do's???

I don't know she should step down for racial comments or that she is just stupid.

I feel I need to say something about this subject and recent comments that have been made by "our leaders" regarding racial profiling and there being a disproportionate number of blacks being pulled over, arrested, shot, etc.

This is pretty Captain Obvious, but I still think it bears mentioning:

If inner cities have some of the highest crime rates in the nation, and minorities (blacks) make up the majority of the residents there, then of course that means the police presence there is going to be higher and more concentrated. That means interaction between residents and police are going to be higher. That also means police are going to be witnessing people behaving badly and looking for suspects of criminal acts. More out of work residents loitering on the streets getting in trouble (idle hands...).

Juxtapose that against a suburban neighborhood where the crime rate is much lower, the crimes themselves less violent (burglsary, theft, etc.) and the density of residents is lower. Less crime and a more widely dispersed population means less police presence and less interaction with residents and a police force that is less likely to be looking for suspects of criminal acts. They're all at work and not running the streets!

Combine those two scenarios and of course blacks are going to be subject to more encounters with police, more questioning, more pat downs, more arrests and imprisonment, and more lethal encounters with police.

There is such an obvious reason for the disparity - I wish someone would have the balls to say it publicly.

Too bad that JFK got killed. He never could had gotten the great fuckin society welfare system passed. Alive, he just didnt have the political muscle to drag America down like that.
