I grew up in a Christian home (Southern Baptist) We went to Church three times a week. In Sunday School, they would teach the scriptures, but it was always a verse here and a verse there. When I got older I was somewhat rebellious in that something was not quite right or that I was missing something, so I attended a Methodist Church 9 month course where we read the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelations. (I did want to add that I did do extensive research too) WOW!! My eyes were open to the fact that I really didn't know anything about the Bible. Many Christians and non-Christians will pick and choose a verse here and there to suit their way of thinking. If you really, really want to know the truth, do your own research. It will probably shock you at first once you really learn what the whole Bible from the beginning to the end has to say. Pray that God gives you insight and the REAL truth, because that truth can set you free. Best of luck with whatever path you take in life.
