According to the lunar calendar that Muslims follow for religious holidays, Eid al-Adha looks set to fall around the 15th anniversary of the 2001 Al Qaeda atrocity which claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people... Quoting: Tess. Eid al-Adha, or Feast of Sacrifice, commemorates what Muslims believe was Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son in accordance with God’s will, though in the end God provides him with a sheep to sacrifice instead.. In remembrance, Muslim faithful slaughter sheep, cattle, camels and other livestock in an act of sacrifice to show gratitude for their blessings.. [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Fuckin savages. Butchering animals for allah in this day and age. If I was God I'd turn them all into sheep and make them the sacrifices. Hope they get what they deserve this 9/11. good find Tess. perhaps it's only a coincidence, but that also happens to be the same day as the Negro Hair Appreciation Society's annual ball. you might want to think twice about attending this year. |

Not to be pedantic, but all Abrahamic religions practice animal sacrifice. It's part of the Law of Moses as written in the Old Testament, which Christians, Jews and Muslims believe. There are burnt offerings, peace offerings, red cow sacrifice, etc. Actually, that's where the word scapegoat comes from. It's the animal that takes on the sin of others. Also, Jewish folk have a Passover sacrifice where they slaughter a lamb and eat it. Christians do much the same on Thanksgiving. Conclusion: While I agree that butchering animals for a sacrifice is wrong, it's not only the Muslims that practice this weird ritual. |

Thanksgiving is not the same thing, and your inherently biased bigot, looking for any reason to attack Christianity. "Thanksgiving", was a general feast day, to celebrate good fortune. American society, was nearly totally Christian. Every aspect of society was Christian, until an unholy alliance of scum(people like you), like jew's, homosexuals, atheists, and devil worshipers, conspired for over 100 years, to systematically attack Christianity, to destroy America. |

You know, Britain and US buddies. Easier to just blame all muslims then read the 28 pages of 9/11 report and find out who was responsible. |
