Presidential Pledge omits "of America"...?
I watched the oaths spoken and noticed:

1. No flag lapel pin on President Trump

2. The oaths taken by both Vice President Pence and President Donald J. Trump omit the oath to "the United States of America".

the "of America" is omitted.

Kind of important, one would think.

Anyone know why?

I am damned proud to be an American, proud of my new President and Vice President. WE ARE BACK!

The countries name is "The United States". "Of America" is not part of the name. America is a continent, not a country.

Wearing the Red tie of Communism.

It'll be good for awhile, but the road toward Communism and a One World Government is on track.

Bringing Lady Liberty to her knees will happen, destroying her from within, divide and conquer, some States attempting to secede but they will suffer most.

Each time there is a economic set back, 5 planned total, the years of 'recovery' between them will shorten and the 'recovery' less and less healing, until the U.S. is no longer recognizable as its former glorious Self.

Stop looking for a Messiah.

9/11, the corrupt Clinton, Bush 'cabal' WILL BE exposed as will other shocking truths but only to shock the Nation into obedience and have them lose faith, once and forall in the U.S. political system.

They MUST Destroy the US in order to have their NWO.

No, it's not. Red is the color the Republicans use. It makes no logical sense, but that is how it is. Also, the color red is bright, noticeable and a power color, thus why it is used all the time in advertising.

Trump has been wearing a red tie for decades. It's his signature look, which he said himself in dozens of interviews.

Red is also the color of the Republican party. Try again

Exactly right on the money. The reason of America was missing from his speech is that he was not declaring himself the president of our Sovereign Republic, he was declaring himself the president of the United States corporation which is an entirely different thing and monetize is are social security numbers while trading them on the stock market. Don't be fooled, keep your head up and your eyes open.

It was exactly as stated in the Constitution. Article 2, section 1, paragraph 8.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The Vice President's oath is not required under Article 2 and so as the president of the senate that one is used instead.

Re: Presidential Pledge omits "of America"...?
for all the exact details one should obtain a certified copy of this oath of office, review every jot and titel, see how every symbol is written, T is crossed, i is dotted, useage of capitalization, etc., etc. and verify it is exactly as prescribed according to the law of the land.

it may also be useful to officially accept this oath *in deed* (in writing) and place your acceptance on the record at your local recorders office.

looking forward to a review and comparison of it soon.
