Earthquake lights in Missouri, anyone capture?
About 4:45 this evening I noticed the rainbow "earthquake lights" in the sky. I have also heard rumblings all day. Anyone else take notice of this?

Kansas City area, I didn't notice anything around that time. Can't say I was sky gazing much though, driving.

Let me see if I can find a similar pic on the internet. Yes, it was in the clouds and there was no rain today. Be right back.

OK it looked just like this, but vertical. I tried capturing it, but I don't have a smartphone and it didn't even show up. I know someone out there saw it, too. [link to www.naturphilosophie.co.uk]

Not a problem, I described it a little better for you in my response and included a link. The rumblings were real short in length and happened throughout the day. I'm in an area away from the city and don't hear many planes either.

Re: Earthquake lights in Missouri, anyone capture?
STL here. I'm cautiously concerned about this. There has been a slight uptick in quakes recently around the New Madrid fault zone. To boot, within the past week on my way home from work I saw what some might refer to as "earthquake clouds". At least that's what they looked like. I didn't see the rainbow thingy like you are talking about. It was the cloud formation. Lots and lots of identical lines of clouds all through the sky (not chemtrails, these were clouds). If you aren't familiar just google it and some images pop up. Of course, scientifically they haven't connected such clouds to quakes, but there have been countless times documented when a larger quake hit and such clouds were seen days before.

I will add that I didn't see what you saw today, but I was also stuck in an office all day with no windows. Oddly, at one point I did feel a very slight vibration while sitting at my desk. There is a floor below me so I chalked it up to something underneath although I didn't hear anything. I know it was later afternoon, but couldn't tell you what time.

I think I know what you mean. It's probably what I always thought were haarp clouds. And I noticed the uptick as well. One in perryville the other day was on the anniversary of the second real big ones from the 1800's.

Yes, Perryville and a few further south in the bootheel. As well as a bit east in TN. All of this together makes me a bit nervous, not gonna lie.

"Not every major earthquake is preceded by lightning. And not all clear-sky lightning is followed by earthquakes. "We want to know - why does this lightning appear sometimes but not others?" said Prof Shinbrot.

To understand better the correlation, scientists in Turkey have erected towers that measure voltage fields in the air over earthquake-prone regions."
