Joe in JT User ID: 70759220 United States 02/01/2017 05:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I use my fucking phone for PHONE CALLS. That's it. Quoting: Bill_Davis But I notice online there are a lot of programs that are Android or iPhone ONLY compatible. Amazon's stupid audio service is ONLY for your fucking phone. I only use my PC for everything I do. Yet these fucktard companies run my millenials force you to use these stupid APPS. What kind of fucking shithead uses their phone for common PC-related activities? Phones are SMALL, annoying, slip out of your hand, have no storage, hard to use, hard to type on, etc. I'm sick of this fucking shit! I'm 5 years ahead of you man. I have a simple Tracfone (throw away phone) and a lap top for home use. Constantly over the years I've been bombarded with "get this app... get that app" ... and I was like ... WHY? The ONE time I looked into an APP... it cost money. So I was like ... WTF? I could see this scam coming down the pike and it was so obvious that simple free shit you can you tube or google ... now cost money...simply because they call it an APP. |

Think of the 90s Desktop, clunky and a bit slow, fast forward to the modern computer, (still having desktops) the laptop/notebook/ipad etc, and now what you are yourself bringing up is the fact that your little tiny smart phone is the next step of the process. The tech gets smaller and smaller and faster and faster. And before you know it, you will no longer need to type, click, or hold your device used for internet. It will be placed within your brain. This isnt probably going to happen in 5 or even 10 years, but the footprints are evident IMO of the track leading to this. I've been noticing more and more coupons require an app to use the coupon. "The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive. ... Our own fight for the West does not begin on the battlefield — it begins with our minds, our wills, and our souls... Americans, Poles, and the nations of Europe value individual freedom and sovereignty. We must work together to counter forces, whether they come from inside or out, from the South or the East, that threaten over time to undermine these values and to erase the bonds of culture, faith and tradition that make us who we are. I am here today not just to visit an old ally, but to hold it up as an example for others who seek freedom and who wish to summon the courage and the will to defend our civilization." ~President Donald J Trump "...sometimes, you have to be a high-riding bitch to survive. I don't want them to have access to my contacts and address book. Its none of their business. That's the problem, AC. Most of the built-in apps in any modern mobile device these days can NOT be uninstalled without rooting them or simply not getting said mobile device. I've heard that the only Android device that comes bare naked or devoid of all built-in apps aside from Google's stuff is Google's own devices such as the Nexus. Virtually every free app there is has been written so they'll steal every bit of your personal information then sell it off so the developer(s) can earn some serious cash for your personal information. This explains why you'll get those bizarre telemarketer phone calls when you know darn well you haven't been giving out your phone number to many people or at all. This is just barely the tip of the iceberg, AC. I'm not happy with this situation either. Conspiracy Theorist is nothing more than a derogatory title used to dismiss a critical thinker. Automation - including use of apps - enables them to achieve this. If you don't like it, they won't care unless the rest of their customers also don't like it, and therefore go elsewhere. |

The reliance on technology will be required for human life.. does that ring a bell to some of you? As someone else mentioned with needing apps for certain coupons on store products. Thats just the beginning. The only way I'll become a Borg is if the Star Trek Borg went through their BS plan from First Contact or one of the many Star Trek movies to go back in time during roughly this time frame and seed the Earth's atmosphere with Borg nanomachines. That way over time Humanity would become one with the Collective. By the time anyone would catch onto what's really going on they would be too ingrained with Borg technologies to ever fight back. All of Humanity would be extinguished forever at that point. Not thanks on that insanity. That's exactly where we're going too, Archaic Smile - a full merger with man and machine. I choose death in such an event. But realistically, I'd rather EMP the whole planet to save what's left of Humanity and give the gift of life to the few true humans left on Earth. You know, something a truly sane individual such as myself could conceive of. Conspiracy Theorist is nothing more than a derogatory title used to dismiss a critical thinker.
