The off switch is Hawaii. We've been having very weird, dry weather for almost 2 months now. Plus, lots of military planes spraying something and intense head pressure for almost a week now. I think this is deliberate weather manipulation.

It's not about physical distance (aprx. 3000 miles), it's about wind and ocean currents. Yes, Hawaii will get radiation but not first. The Pacific northwest is the proverbial canary in the coal mine. This past December we finally had some of the tsunami debris wash up - took nearly 6 years to get here.

I read elsewhere from what appeared to be an informed source that at the higher rates they ran the main spillway (100,000 versus 55,000) it takes about 1.4 days to drain the inflow from one inch of rain over the watershed. So that means it can handle 5 inches per week, assuming even inflow.

They don't want to run it faster not only because of erosion downstream, but because the very top by the lake is a chute cut into rock and they don't want any erosion there. They'd prefer to go below 100,000 if they can.

So with predictions like 12 inches in 10 days, we may be looking at the emergency spillway getting wet again...in which case who knows what happens.
