How 'bout the weirdness of the date? 3-11??

BPEarthwatch did a video yesterday and mentioned this
comet. It is called "Comet Enki"...not much more info
on it from BP, but I will try to find out more.

I am more concerned about 2 powerful gamma ray bursts
one from Sagittarius on the 11th and one from Ophiuchus
on the 12th. The 2 constellations are very close to each
other and may indicate an up-tick in core flaring from
the center of the Milky Way. Comet Enki is pretty, but not
a threat and comes around every 3 years or so.

You can check this site daily for gamma ray bursts (GRBs) or
other strange goings-on in space:

The name of the comet is not Enki but Encke, to be correct: 2P/Encke, named after the astronomer Johann Franz Encke, who discovered that it is a periodic comet and calculated it's orbit.
