Beaver Artworks fer City Slickers

I have recently come into assciation with a large number of beavers who leave behind for me the most elegantly sculpted tree stumps.

Especially when they are very fresh, the color and carving are as cool as sand dune shapes.

I'm thinking if I winch these stumps out, clean em, trim roots so it stands level, put on satin polyurethane, I can sell 'em to arsty fartsies in ubercool city neighbourhoods.

Regular beaver-sticks actually are worth 20-40 dollars!

Seriously folks, until last year this time I don't think I had maybe EVER seen a beaver, and now I'm seeing them all over in places 70 miles apart.
Where I grew up is the huge group I met last year.
70 miles away, (another river town) one crossed the city street in front of me at a crosswalk in an older residential neighbourhood on its way to the park just a week ago.
Got stuck in traffic two days ago behind a big oil tanker....from Beaver Oil Company.

What is it called when a certain animal is suddenly there in your life?

And how random is it...all this sudden presence of beavers in my life.

If I weren't well grounded I might think I was turnin into a Canadian, eh?
