Weed or no weed, smoke or no smoke, line or no line, there's a high better than any other high! Here is something encouraging for you: [link to youtu.be (secure)] |

That is interesting and I will consider it the next time I want a drink. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6869304 It is crazy isn't it? I mean i drank all my life! It says that when you drink, your spirit actually stands aside and the spirit of Al-Kuhl takes over. So when people say they were not in their right mind, they are absolutely right. To me it was so eye opening and I'm grateful that you would at least think about it. |

I thought it was a legitimate question, being a Christian myself, knowing that wine/analogy for the blood of Christ is referenced throughout the bible puts me in an opposing school of thought. If alcohol is the blood of a fallen angel/demon, that would mean that if you believe this, or anyone who is a Christian and believes this would ultimately be saying that the blood of/analogy for the blood of Christ is the spirit of a demon. |

The root is a parasite that has attached itself to your unseen. It eats your consciousness by making you involve your mind in obsessions. Alcohol, food, sex, any of hundreds of subjects by which obsession overtakes your mind. When your mind is inescapably occupied with the obsession, the parasite eats that consciousness you've surrendered. The parasite can NEVER detach nor ever cease to exist. Only you can stop feeding it, sending the parasite into partial dormancy. One glance back then it awakens and the feeding begins again. |

Ok. I'll take your representation at face value and would ask you to consider doing an in depth study on the subject as alcohol is no where related to the blood of Christ in the Bible. The following video is 30 mins long but it does an excellent job of going through the arguments for/against from a biblical perspective. [link to youtu.be (secure)] Of course from a purely naturalistic perspective, alcohol does immense damage to the body/brain but I'm responding to you in good faith from a biblical perspective as you made the correlation between the blood of Christ and alcohol. |

Jesus Christ is of a different Spirit. It is an analogy and a very good one. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 39516942 United States 06/15/2017 02:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why and how I stopped drinking alcohol. Quoting: Freedom101 I'm gonna tell you the story of what caused me to stop drinking cold. I mean no AA, no counseling, no nothing, just stop. One morning after another one of those nights, I was lead to study the etymology of the word alcohol--God had been after me for some time. I discovered that the word alcohol comes from the ancient Persian word "Al-Kuhl". Al-Kuhl literally means "consumer of life". That's why even today people ask if you "consume" alcohol. What they don't know is that when you say I consume alcohol" you're really saying "I take that which consumes my life"! It really consumies life (health, relationships, and wealth). But it gets better--ancient religious writings state that Al-Kuhl was a fallen angel and that he gave "enchanting potions" to man. So, research shows that all "enchanting potions---alcohol, drugs, and other substances are said to be tools of Al-Kuhl and when a person ingest them, they're taking in the consuming spirit of Al-Kuhl which will lead them to...wait for it....bondage or addiction to the hateful demon Al-Kuhl! So, when you take an enchanting potion, you take in the spirit of Al-Kuhl, which really hates you and wants to kill you. To make bondage to death easier, many bars show you in plain sight a "Spirits" list to help you consume the spirit of Al-Kuhl. So, those, bad/embarrassing drunken moments were really the spirit of Al-Kuhl destroying and humiliating us, in every way possible, little by little. That is why the biblical emphasis to be sober minded. God knows that sobriety maintains and promotes freedom from bondage, promoted health, relationships and wealth. If I had understood that sometime ago, I would have avoided soooooo many mistakes and prevented so many personal loses. After this research, I immediately dropped alcohol and haven't touched it since. If I even think about it, I know to say no to the spirit of Al-Kuhl as I want to be filled with the spirit of joy, peace and love. Hope you guys like it, I can send you the citations to the research if you so desire. Jesus turned water into wine. I'm ok with wine |
