Does anyone know how much "cleaner" water would be today than compared to 100 years ago, or in poorer countries?

I know water now is filtered so it should be 100x cleaner, at least you would hope.

But does anyone know how much less bacteria etc, would be in the water today?

It's worse today with the chemicals that can't be filtered out.

Do you know how much more recycled pharmaceutical drugs are in the water today, and how much carcinogenic bleach and brain-numbing fluoride is in the water today?

Because we all know you could disinfect water with alcohol/wine or boil it to clean it in the older days. We didn't have radioactive cancer pisswater circulating through the city water then.

no less bacteria in the water today, more radioactive particles in the rainwater though, with petroleum toxins too.
