That 1.59 McDouble is suddenly 2.99 and that happens across the board on all services/goods/food, etc. I saw one study that finds when all the prices increase, the people making the 15 an hour actually have less spending money because all the shit they buy went up 25% up to 500%. |

Yet according to a major new study that could force economists to reassess past research on the issue, the hike has had the opposite effect. They've cut their payrolls, putting off new hiring, reducing hours or letting their workers go, the study found. The costs to low-wage workers in Seattle outweighed the benefits by a ratio of three to one, according to the study, conducted by a group of economists at the University of Washington who were commissioned by the city. remainder at link [link to www.yahoo.com (secure)] aaannnnd.... we told you so.... dumbass liberals It is a difficult to manage sweat shops and overpriced minimum wage that is detrimental to the economy. Solid point. Crony capitalism IS NOT free market capitalism. Free market capitalsim is how fortunes are made and everyone rises up.... Crony capitalism is how monopolies are made and everyone gets beat back away from the ladder going up Only idiots hate facts |
