Anyone Move To A Cannabis Friendly State?
Anyone move to a cannabis friendly state just for the ability to enjoy legal cannabis and the higher quality of life?

What have been your experiences, good or bad? Has it been worth it?

I'm going to be going into a working retirement in a few years and am looking at moving to Florida for the lack of winter, no income tax on pension, and for the improved quality of life but recreational weed isn't legal there and if I'm moving across country it might as well be where I can buy weed because of the many benefits. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks -

Once you read the list of sprays on it allowed in pot friendly states (About 200 in Colo.), you will realize that only a fool buys pot at a dispensary.

Well. at least it's out in the open and people can consume without Smokey the Bear threatening your livelihood. It's still the freakin 50s where I am and the older I get the more I feel like I need it to pursue a happy and healthy life.

You know how it goes, the older you get the more life sucks.

Cannabis friendly states all have huge homeless problems, especially the warm climate ones.

All planned...

The homeless are everywhere, even here on the east coast. The difference is that here there are so many abandoned houses that you don't see them.

That's not really a factor for me.

I live in Oregon. Since 1989.
The politicians here, the federal government and Kalifornia retirees ruined the state and culture all by themselves. Legalization of marijuana made no difference in the matter.

Cannabis can help with alcholism..

Meth addiction..

Opioid addiction..

Cancer..

We got this far with the Female plant..

Now for the product from the Male..

Its is generating revenue but we can go farther..

And assist our massive debt issues..

And more..

In Colorado, home prices have gone through the roof because so many people are moving there. Also, drug cartels are buying up entire houses to use as large growing rooms. Then they take the weed to Denver or Chicago so it can be shipped around the world.

In paper alone we could save trees..

The building products it could produce..

We just have more hurdles to get through..

Marijuana still has a bad rap..

As a gateway instead of a gate out..

Lol, that is not what is driving up the home prices. There are big businesses moving to Denver at record pace. Unemployment us 2.9%. downtown Denver is growing fast, new skyscrapers everywhere.

If anything the marijuana is causing the homeless problem to explode.

Hopefully the excess of homeless people does not ruin Denver.

And the suburbs/ mountains? Forget it....very $$$$$.

Denver is a growing but not because of marijuana.

There is a far higher quality of life on west coast if you can afford some increased costs. The other option is to buy in bulk and drive it back. You can get a pound of good quality for $1000-$2000 depending on grade, strain, timing, who you know, etc.

Re: Anyone Move To A Cannabis Friendly State?
florida maybe not the best place as far as weed goes.

to the best of my knowledge- dade county is the only place in florida that weed has been decriminalized..you can have up to 20 something grams and the cop doesnt have to arrest you, he can..but he doesnt have to.

just go where ever you want, it will be legal everywhere before too much longer.

I have been saying that since the 80's. I hope this time it will happen.
