Flipped thru the book "The Last PRESIDENT".

First of all: when in the hell did we ever get away from using WORDS. Big words! Ponderous and magnificent real words???

The old fashioned prose may set your eyes to swirling but it will be worth it.

I just raced thru the quickly but the gist I got was that the unexpected President had to battle a very pissed off Congress who are hell bent on fighting him tooth and nail.

The last bit deals with them not being able to go on break so that they can vote for some healthcare type thing for old Confederates. The President even comes to the floor to implore them to do the right thing but they don't.

Also mention of a morning without a dawn. Some say that on Aug 21 during the eclipse, the sun will be a black sun; no real dawn.

All together, this book is mind bending beyond belief.

Will have to pursue it further tonight.
