Misguided celebrities making socio-political statements in videos on their Youtube channels... Do you really feel that this is something which warrants 'fighting' and is deserving of your limited time & energy?

The other thing is this... Spreading this type of content on the internet drives up the view count of the videos and potentially exposes the content to a demographic of individuals out there who will agree with it. So you may end up reinforcing the message unintentionally... Also, if a video gets millions of views, even if half of those views are from individuals who disagree with the message/content - it can send the message to the creator of the video that there message is 'getting out there' and 'reaching millions of people'... Nevermind the actual percentage of people who are against it or oppose it... They just see the millions of views and their personal bias influences them to believe that they are effectively acting as a 'voice for change'... And this may promote future, repeat behavior....

Honestly, the best approach is to avoid it like the plague... The main problem with our society is the 'cult of celebrity' and how the masses invest so much importance/value in whatever they (celebrities) are doing or saying.... If we collectively decide to ignore celebrities and stop paying them so much attention - it will help to counteract the unhealthy emphasis/importance that is typically placed upon them.
