Nuns Fire: Overnight wind conditions pushed the fire in two directions towards the Oakmont community in Santa Rosa and areas northeast in the city of Sonoma. Moderate fire behavior increased overnight dues to the winds on the South and Western Portions of the fire.

Pocket Fire: The fire continues to progress across the slope to the east with head.

Tubbs Fire: The most active portion of the fire is still the north-eastern portion around Red Hill and Mount Saint Helena. The fire continues to flank and make short uphill runs around to the north side of the peaks. The fire is currently holding at Highway 29.

We're doing pretty good in my area. The fire spread north and east. There's still evacuations occurring around us but for the most part, I would think that this side of the mountain is in the clear.


Wildland fire just started up in Novato (South of us quite a way) but I think they'll stomp that one pretty quickly.

Last missing person found in Yuba County: Everyone who evacuated the region ahead of the deadly Cascade Fire in Yuba County has been accounted for, county officials said Monday. The last missing person was confirmed safe over the weekend, said Russ Brown, a Yuba County spokesman. There were more than a hundred welfare checks performed in the aftermath of the wildfire but only four of those calls had escalated to missing persons cases, Brown said. Of those, three of them were fatalities.

Hope you are doing well. I started the santa rosa thread. After all this time they are still not letting us through to our property. God the air here is awful, isn't it. I don't know if people realize how bad it is.
