Anyone have any experience with kratom? Afraid to try it.
Does anyone have any experience with kratom? I bought some capsules at a smoke shop yesterday, but I am afraid to try it because there is no regulation and you don't know what your swallowing. Any thoughts or experiences you're willing to share?

It helped me tremendously when I was a beginning opiate user and had mild to moderate withdrawals... If you take any kind of dose under the equivalent of 50mg oxycodone a day, it should really help you out! Like all other great, natural things it became a ridiculous FELONY last September in the state of great Alabama..

Nothing to be afraid of though especially just being a plant. Even when I had no opioid tolerance, I never really got a "high" from it, even at 8 gram doses.. you really can't off the stuff, but it is GREAT, and I mean GREAAAAT for motivation, being extremely in a great mood, being curious/talkative, and just WANTING to go to work, and even do more than you have to...

All around, it's just a really great herb to make you feel how you do on your very best days.

A few tips though.. 1, dont abuse it, and 2, only take what you need to get the disired effect... anymore and you will just build a ridiculous tolerance and even may suffer withdrawal from taking it regularly.. 3, take it only when you need it and are really down and lethargic..
Dose one day.. skip 2 days..

Much love,

Do NOT.
You are RIGHT to be afraid to try a drug that is not prescribed to you and affects your brain wave patterns.

Some damage is irreversible. Some brain altering drugs cause seizures.

If you think you need drugs go to a doctor.

I wouldn't buy those cheap ones, get organic online....and don't use the liquid shots either. Start out small, eat something after.

Re: Anyone have any experience with kratom? Afraid to try it.
Is there a reason you want to try it? I have used it for arthritis and body pain for over 2 years and it helps me out.

I did research all the brands that were for sale at a local vape store. I chose three varieties from one brand which had excellent reviews and track record.

Also, instead of the 6-7 capsule dose (1 gram) they recommend, only 3 capsules works wonders for me and I can sleep or get things done around the house without pain. Depending upon which variety I use, one makes me a little sleepy and the other two help with pain but wake me up a bit.

Ibuprofen and Aleve irritate the heck out of my stomach, so once or twice a week kratom and an epsom salt bath is my only option. I am not interested in painkillers, and yoga for 5 years has not helped at all with pain, so this is what I do.

Addictive.

Bad withdrawals after long periods of use.

Fuck Kratom.

Beats heroin or worse. So, might be OK for stepping down from certain path to death m

What kind of capsules? Kratom is great but it is addictive. If its anything other the o.p.m.s then you will have to take 5-10 capsules to even feel it. o.p.m.s. you only need one, but they are expensive.

nothing to be afraid of either. if you take to much, you fall asleep. thats it! chances are you wont take enough to feel it. Capsules suck, get the powder online. red it has a kratom forum with reputable vendors.

dont take it everyday!! you WILL feel withdrawals from it if you do.

OP if you are going to try Kratom don't buy it from a smoke shop because it may be mixed with other impure products. OP you should not use Kratom just to get high, it has a medical purpose for pain relief. Kratom works for many people without side effects of prescription medications for pain.

I just took green Malay kratom, I bought from a smoke shop. It gives me a boost of energy. I was wondering if the kratom websites have better quality I might try it. I want to try the Bali red.

It's the only thing I have found that relieves my sciatica pain. Thankfully it's not an everyday thing, but wow it sure is a lifesaver when it flares up.

Powder works faster, but pills are easier "to go".

Honestly, I have never experienced any "high" from them, even when I did double my normal dose of powder.

I think so, I have found what amount works for a slight flare up, and how much for major flare-ups. I only take it for sciatica pain, and usually just at night so I can sleep. Laying down is the worst. lol During a recent flare up I decided to try a double dose (for me), and not only didn't feel anything but relief, it also didn't work any longer than a regular dose. For me, a major flare-up dose is 1 teaspoon of powder or 14 capsules. I can get by with 8 capsules if it's just moderate pain.

OP, you can find organic in local smoke shops too sometimes, but for me, it didn't seem to work as well. No idea why. So I typically buy Krave Maeng Da in both powder and capsules.

Re: Anyone have any experience with kratom? Afraid to try it.
I get the premium Bali powder in capsules.

Imo it's the best one. Good mood enhancement and body calm.

Different vein colors bring different effects.

White and yellow vein is more for energy.

Red and green is more for mood and pain.

I take about 5-8 caps a day spread out throughout the day or the raw powder, not the concentrated ones.

It's nice but does build up tolerance and there are withdrawals. Just don't treat it like some kind of legal high, respect mother nature and don't abuse her gifts.

Use it don't abuse it, give yourself time away from it if you find yourself dosing more and more and you'll be fine.

used kratom for 2 yrs now. buy from kraken kratom comes right through the mail and is pure and of quality. Small dose of most of their kratom gives the desired result. Red leaf gives a buzz like narcotics. White vein is an energetic type of kratom gives you energy. Green is similar to white vein. Have not had any side effects at all from use and it does not give you a hangover or leave you feeling like crap the next day like alcohol.

I'll trade my kilo of kratom for some preloaded cannabis vapor.
I can't take the taste.

I would like to trade my kilo for some 0477. I can not find a place to get it now and am almost out. The kratom just does not kill the pain and help me work a well a the 477. I do not abuse it, I have bone disease and want to stay working as much as possible. The 0477 has no bad side or high, effects for me. Anyone with tips on how I find a new company to ship to the US ?

I hear the secret to not belching all night and getting desired effect is to eat a very small snack right before downing a few.. like 5 potato chips..

me too.

just made my stomach sour, didn't really feel it.

but then again everybody's body chemistry is different.

Pot kicks my ass like crazy, but i can drop two hits of acid and most wouldn't even know i was on it. i'm fully functional.

but pot is more psychedelic to me than giving me an 1/8th of mushrooms.

Been using it for six years. Originally helped me get off of pain pills. Just be careful, it is addictive, even though everyone else will tell you it's not. I use it now to keep away the back pain and for energy. If you need a reputable source, look up ttk kratom on Facebook. It's my buddy's page, and he imports it himself. He has many different strains, and can tell you which one will work for what you're trying to accomplish.
