This is just a look at the potential future problems with infrastructure all over. Before the recession hit, I was a player in wholesale steel for a multi billion $ company based in Orlando and they were bringing in steel reinforcing rod from Russia by the ship load and selling it to anyone with a checkbook. This steel was extremely sub par and carried faux tags on the grade that it was supposed to be certified at.( example- grade 40 as a basic standard).

I am 6' and 185 lbs soaking wet and would take this rod and bend it like a he-man lol and a true grade 40 #4 1/2" piece of steel would have made my head explode trying to bend it. If you think I am exaggerating the description, look up the failure of the pedestrian bridge at Charlotte Motor Speedway back in the day. That shit hit the ground the first time it was used LOL and boy, were they scrambling to cover that cluster up. My customer was begging for some "real" steel from Pennsylvania.

Just so you are aware, I sold this shit by the tractor load, 22 tons at a trip-and every bridge you drive over....every building you ride an elevator....everything that takes reinforcing steel is compromised! When I approached my superiors-they proclaimed that they had no choice but to keep up with every other supplier bringing imported steel into the U.S.

It “sets the stage” for the Justice Department to act.

It outlines and presents the evidence.

It outlines the crimes.

It outlines the indictments.

It presents the entirety of the criminal enterprise and its illegal activities.

It forces the AG to act, in the interests of justice.
