If you can stomach the Obama murals & full-on urban lovefest that is Ben's Chili Bowl, their half-smokes really ARE good.

I'd look for any hearing Gowdy will be doing questioning at if you're serious - he's pretty darn entertaining, if a bit ineffective to date...the topic matter is ALL pretty interesting these days.

Yeah, with all this "Q-Anon" bullshit, I thought it might get interesting this week... But then again, it's probably all bullshit.

Ben's Chilibowl.... I'll keep it in mind! I'll have some time to kill by myself and will be in town all week.

Arlington Cemetery is a must if you've never been.

The Mall & it's memorials as well.

Air & Space museum is always good & there's a SUPERB extension of it out by Dulles if that coincides w/ your flight plans.

Add to it, the spy museum and a bit of old town with the wife in the evenings but, I'm thinking by day 4, I might need to find some excitement.

The beetle was roomy and we went to Hershey Town and New York too. We saw the Statue of Liberty. We asked a guy for directions at one point. I asked, "How do we get to the statue of liberty?" He said, "You go to the twin towers then..." I interrupted, "How do you get to the twin towers?" He looked at me and said, "You aren't from around here are you?"

We made it to DC. While we were there in the afternoon we met a man. He was the ambassador to Spain. Imagine 3 young girls, alone in DC, meeting this very ruggedly handsome spaniard.

He said he would show us the sites. We were very excited. He said he would get off work and meet up with us. He asked us to meet him at 2:00 in the morning. He explained that that was the was of DC. It was open all night long.

We met him. Got ice cream and had a great time sightseeing.
