Prayer for Niece for Lung Transplant

Please, please. I am asking for prayer for my niece. She needs a lung transplant. Her lungs are literally deteriorating. It's a genetic thing, with a long, complicated name, but I don't understand it all. She got one recessive gene from her mother (my sister), and one from her father (lucky kid, eh?).

She's only 40, and now we think back on it, she always had problems breathing. We all thought she had anxiety attacks.

She has a devoted husband, and two daughters - one with a 1-year old baby, and the other is only 18 and still in college. She's got a lot of life to get to still.

PLEASE pray for her. Help in any way you can.

Yes, she knows the Lord, and if the lungs don't come in time, or if something goes wrong, she will go to heaven, but she is my sister's only child, and it will devastate all of us if something goes wrong.

Tina was lifted up to Jesus by me. Thank you for caring enough to ask the multitude of strangers to pray for Tina to receive her lung transplant. Only two weeks ago I came on GLP and posted my plea for my one year old son Josiah who was undergoing major surgery on his intestines and throat. Many people prayed for him and I am so happy to report that Josiah is recovering from his surgery and should be able to go home from the hospital tomorrow! God is good and hears and does answer the prayer requests of those who he chooses to leave on his earth. I believe in miracles by way of prayers being answered when you pray always in the name of Jesus. I hope Tina gets her new lungs and that they work well for her for many years to come.

I think Beeches meant the complete opposite of what you stated. She said, "Without intermediary" "directly to God". And since Christ IS our intermediary that contradicts her proposal.

Thanks for the pin, beeches. My sister and her daughter (and granddaughter) know Jesus and there will be NO confusion in recognizing our God and Savior.

It sounds like your niece has alfa 1 anti-trepson. My wife has this and with God's grace recieved her double lung transplant in 2015 at the Iowa city university. I personally know what she is going through as I lived it with my wife. Just know that the hardest part will be waiting for a donor as the surgery has a high success rate. And the recovery was about 8-10 weeks.
Anyway my prayers are for your niece.
