It’s going to keep going up till Jan 1st at least. Everyone wants to recognize gains in the next tax year so expect a sell off to start the new year.

Stock market Tulip Bulb hysteria comes to mind.

Tulips are plants that die and disintegrate after a short period of time. The rare genetics of a certain tulip is what made them so valuable. What does this have to do with bitcoin you ask?

Nothing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75710605

umm, what about:

-leveraging
-herd mentality

What of all previous bubbles?
 Quoting: just a dude

-leveraging is dept, correct? Dollars = debt which is dying before your very eyes.

-herd mentality - was kept out of most financial instruments for the past 300 years, except for your cited bubbles of course, beanie babies and such. Now that the whole world has access to a real financial asset and no one can regulate or confuse them away from it you are able to witness what happens in a real unregulated un-manipulated uncontrolled market. Aka Free market. No one knows what a free market looks like because they have never seen one. Now of course they see bitcoin going crazy and it blows their mind.

Everyone in the investment biz knows what's
going on here... they know they cannot
get a return investment with a higher
percentage rate knowing they wouldn't
be getting&- this from a normal bank.

I sold all Bitcoin at 14.54 this morning. I expect it to settle next week back around 10.00 then I'll put it all back in and hold for a target of 20.00. The attempt is to outperform just holding long and exploiting the volatility. Funner than just checking the price every day.

Mean while all the coinbase guys who can still access the site behind the scenes claim their profits at the top.. Tooo EASY. Yea fuck coinbase. I believe they are the real attempt to sneak in the back to crash this party. Just like all the rest though, in the end they will fall and it will just be more proof that crypto will prevail.

Nope. It only carshed because the largest exchange carshed and people couldn't buy. Huge volumes of trades couldn't take place during that 30 minutes that coinbase and gdax was down.

You don't have to do that they will be okay in a few weeks or a the latest months. If they hold that is. The reason why BTC takes such drastic corrections is because the new money that drives up the latest bubble push has to figure out how to strengthen their hand and learn how to hold.

That is exactly why I will not getting tempted to swingtrade that shit... either, you catch the wrong point for a sell, or your exchanger is down, when you want to sell or buy...
You can get rid of your Bitcoins faster than you think that way.

If bitcoin ever hits $1,000,000 per coin the winklevoss twins and the creator of bitcoin will be the worlds first trillionares.

Not bad for someone who lost out on the Facebook investment only to hit the next big thing with their 2013 investment of $11,000,000 in bitcoin.

The winkelvoss twins will have 1.4 trillion if it reaches 1 million per coin

Better to just exchange to another crypto that is performing while bitcoin is crashing. I've exchanged 2 bitcoins for Mona and exchanged back in less then an hour and had 2.4 bitcoins due to the difference.
