Let's Play: Do You Live in a Shithole?

Based on Per Capita GDP numbers in the following 2016 rankings:

There are 187 different countries identified.

18 of the bottom 20 countries are in Africa, with Afghanistan at #176 and Nepal at #169 as the outliers.

At #167 is Haiti with a a Per Capita GDP of $761.

The next North, South or Central American Country to make the list is Nicaragua at #135 with an annual Per Capita GDP of $2120...3 X that of Haiti.

The Dominican Republic and Haiti basically are split sides of the same island, the DR comes in at #78 with a Per Capita GDP of $7159, or almost 10X the Per Capita GDP of Haiti. On the same island.

You can pout, cry, scream or hold your breath until you are blue in the face...but if you live in one of the bottom 25 countries on this list---face it, you are living in a shithole.
